Role Description

Elttam Security Pty Ltd. is looking for a Senior Security Consultant. This role is open to remote candidates, with a preference for those based in or willing to work core hours aligned with Perth, Sydney, or Melbourne.

This position is responsible for performing security auditing and adversarial simulation services for our clients in a senior capacity, as well as producing and delivering high-quality reports detailing and explaining security findings, outcomes, and recommendations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a Senior Security Consultant at elttam, you will:

Perform code-assisted web application and mobile security assessments.
Conduct security reviews and assumed breach adversary simulation testing of cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Perform manual source code review alongside AI-assisted vulnerability discovery and exploitation, including the use of agents and skills.
Review information system designs and provide guidance on security strategies to manage identified risks.
Write comprehensive technical reports and present findings, outcomes, and recommendations to clients.
Assist in scoping, proposal generation, and quality assurance review of deliverables as required.
Develop one or more areas of specialisation, working alongside our team of specialists to deepen your skills and experience.
Contribute to internal research, engineering, and business development activities.

Qualifications

A Bachelor of Engineering, Computer Science, other relevant degree, industry certifications, or equivalent experience is ideal. Candidates should have at least four years of technical consulting experience.

Essential Skills and Experience

Demonstrated experience working as a Security Consultant in a senior capacity.
Proven experience conducting code-assisted web application and mobile security assessments.
Experience with security reviews and assumed breach / adversary simulation testing in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
Proven skills in manual source code review and AI-assisted vulnerability discovery and exploitation, including practical use of agents and skills.
Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills and Experience

Exposure to multiple industry verticals, such as technology, critical infrastructure, transport, and avionics
Experience with embedded and IoT security testing and low-level code review / reverse engineering
Development experience to build and maintain custom security tooling for automation projects.
Experience assisting with engagement scoping, proposal generation, and quality assurance review of deliverables.
